Best Mac Store in Jakarta?

Hey,

I'm looking to buy a new hardrive for my g4 powerbook. Any recommendations on where to go here in Jakarta? I can get 40 gig hardrives by IBM and Toshiba in the USA for less than 200 USD...or do I need to go to Singapore?

well..lots of places to go..not always mac store..if you happened to know the models and perhaps part number..you could easily find store which sell it..sometimes the "known as" mac store gives silly prices just because the hardware will use on macintosh system :oops:

lots of store sell HDD for notebook (2,5"). Try Mangga dua or Kota.

just make sure you get warranty/ insurance from the store...both for the item itself and will it working with mac or not. but usually most of the things my friends and i bought there is ok.. better make sure than sorry.

or try Ratu Plaza. a little bit expensive, but mostly they will give you better warranty or a chance to swap item.

But if you are not sure, then go for Singapore (watch out for SARS) he..he..
